Agios Ioannis - Porto: This lovely uncrowded beach lies inside a wind protected bay in the south-east of the island, 7 kilometers from Chora. It is a flat, fine, sandy beach ideal for families. It has tavernas, shady trees and sunchairs - umbrellas. During high season there is a regular bus connection with Chora.
Pachia Ammos: It is located east of Agios Ioanis Porto, over the hill. It has view to Mykonos, and fine sandy beach. Above the beach, you find the new Pachia Country club with music, restaurant, and cool drinks at the pool bar.
Agia Kyriaki: Located just around a small cape from Agios Ioannis Porto. Magnificent sandy beach at the beginning of a large bay. Deckchairs and parasols, tavernas.
Laouti: West of Agia Kyriaki at the end of the street. Fine sand, sun chairs and umbrellas in front of the hotel Akti Aegeou and the taverna Gialos.
Agios Sostis: West end of this long bay. Fine sand, some pebbles if you walk to the east side, shady trees. Tavernas.
Agios Fokas: Popular long beach close to Chora (east side). Sunchairs and umbrellas at the Golden Beach Hotel and 1 kilometer further a small beach club with beach volley.
Stavros: Small bay in a picturesque setting with a small church just before Kionia. Sandy beach.
Kionia: About 3 kilometers west of Chora. Regular bus connections during high season. Long sandy beach with views to Syros and Paros in the South, Delos in the East. Beach Volley, sunchairs and parasols, Tavernas, Cafés, shady trees. The ancient sanctuary of Poseidon is just behind the beach.
Agios Romanos: About 12 kilometers outside Chora over the main road. There is also a dirt road from Kionia (after the hotel Tinos Beach). Beautiful, quiet bay. Partly pebbles, partly fine sand. Shady trees. Nice view to Siros.
Ormos Yannaki: Located 17 kilometers north-west of Chora (main road) directly under the village of Kardiani. Beach with both sand and pebbles, tavernas, nice view to Syros island.
Ormos Isternion: 13 kilometers along the coast to the North, approx 22 kilometers over the main road. Bay with both sand and pebbles. Scenic surroundings, 2 fish tavernas and 1 café.
Panormos: 28 kilometers north-west of Chora. Once port for the export of the nearby marble quarries at Marlas. The waterfront is lined with tavernas and cafés. Several sandy beaches. In the bay the picturesque Planitis Island.
Rochari: East of Panormos, sandy beach with sunchairs, umbrellas.
Kolymbithra: 20 kilometers north of Chora at the end of a fertile valley. Two beaches, one of them organized with sunchairs, -umbrellas, taverns, rooms to let. Beautiful view to droakonisi Island outside the bay.
Lychnaftia: Located on the east coast of Tinos, 7 kilometers from Chora, access through the village of Trianaros or along the coast passing Pachia Ammos. Quiet sandy beach with pebbles, shady trees but no taverna.
Bay of Livada: Located in the North of Tinos. Secluded bay with pebbles, long drive over dirt roads.
